Vote For Our £1,500 Community Fund

Tenby AFC provides grassroots football for players from senior level down to under-sixes, including girls’ teams. With approximately 400 playing members, alongside volunteers and supporters, the club is an important part of the local community.

The funding would contribute towards upgrading the club’s clubhouse and facilities, which are in need of renovation. Improvements would help create a safe, welcoming hub for players and their families, support the continued growth of the girls’ section and provide a space that could also benefit the wider community.

Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club works to promote water safety and prevent drowning, Tenby Surf Lifesaving Club has been teaching lifesaving skills since 1993. The club has more than 60 junior members aged 16 and under, providing training in swimming confidence, surf safety and open-water skills, while also supporting local coastal events.

The funding would help cover the cost of winter pool training sessions for its junior members, keeping membership costs down and ensuring children can continue developing essential lifesaving skills. It would also contribute towards new first aid equipment to support the club’s work caring for casualties and its plans for volunteer beach patrols.
